This family owned business dates back to 1923 and is currently celebrating their 100 th anniversary.
The family currently has some of the 6th generation family members working in the business.
El Cholo formed the Catering division back in 1977 some 46 years ago.

Corona Del Mar
Downtown Los Angeles
Salt Lake City (2023)
Authentic and Traditional Mexican dishes, and many entrees featured date back to the original family recipes from 1923. listed alongside classics like Combination plates, Fajitas, and including our famous Green Corn Tamales. In 1967 Margaritas were introduced and El Cholo has been pouring thousands everyday since.

The following information outlines our standards procedures.
A $200 non - refundable deposit is required for all events. Upon receiving your deposit, your event date is guaranteed. The deposit will not be charged unless your event is cancelled within 72 hours of the date.
Please confirm the total guest count 48 hours prior to the event.
This represents the minimum billing.
To ensure your menu is served in a timely and efficient manner, we encourage that you select from one of our many menu selections.
All menus will be served buffet style unless both parties mutually agreed before hand for table side service. We are more than willing to customize a menu to accommodate your budget.
The balance of payment for your event is due at its conclusion, and we accept cash, credit cards, cashiers checks, or Venmo/Zelle.
